Five Squares Necklace

Contemporary and sculptural necklace. Five squares of varying sizes are "drawn" in silver.

Recycled sterling silver rectangular wire is formed into squares and soldered together. Squares are linked with heat rivets (silver wire balled up on the ends by the heat of the torch).

Necklace is treated with a patina (oxidized) and then polished on the fronts and backs, with the sides left dark to emphasize the depth of the shapes and provide contrast.

Each necklace is entirely handcrafted and will be a little different, making it one of a kind.

The largest square is about 3/4 inch. The necklace is 17 inches long, with a two inch extension, so that you can clasp it at the perfect length for your neckline.

Made from scratch in my Montana studio and shipped to you carefully packaged in a lovely gift box. Enjoy!
