MAKE YOUR OWN WEDDING BAND WORKSHOPS

Spend a lovely afternoon with your partner creating custom wedding rings for each other. Your handmade rings will be extra meaningful, and you’ll have memories of making them together.

Experience includes:  consultation to discuss ring styles, use of private studio, practice time and materials, professional guidance, photo documentation

Workshop fee ($550) + Materials fee (see below)

Amount of time in the studio: ~ 4 hours, depending on the complexity of your rings

During our consultation, I’ll guide you through designing your rings. Some things to consider:

Profiles: flat (1 -1.5mm thick) or half-round (1.25mm thick)
Widths (2 – 8 mm)
Textures and finish: smooth, brushed, hammered, stippled, patina or not
Metal choices (14 k yellow or white or rose gold, 18 k gold, sterling silver)
Option to stamp letters or numbers inside ring.

Add-ons:
Flush-set gemstones – diamonds, sapphires or other faceted natural gemstones
(I’ll add these to your ring after the workshop. $100 per 2 mm sapphire; diamond prices vary
Professional photography (I take photos and videos throughout the session, and send them to you after. If you’d prefer professional images, I can bring in local photographer.)

Please let me know if you’d like recommendations for a celebratory dinner after the session or a nearby hotel.

*Materials fee varies widely depending on metal choice, size and style) For example, a sterling silver band may cost about $40 (rough estimate), a 14 k yellow or rose gold band $400 (again, very rough estimate), 18 k gold $600, 14 k palladium white gold $500 and 18 k palladium white gold $700.
